About
I was born and raised just down the road in West Haven and have been blessed to call Farr West home for over 16 years with my wife, Bre, and our five children. My parents, Paraskevas and Peggy Bolos, taught me the values of hard work, humility, and service. My dad served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and Desert Storm before retiring from Hill Air Force Base, and my mom dedicated her life to teaching junior high math.
Except for two years in Columbus, Ohio, serving a mission, I’ve spent my whole life in Weber County. Like many of you, our family has deep roots here. We love this community and everything it stands for.
Through my career in executive management, I’ve learned the value of listening, working together, and doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. I care deeply about our city and try to lead with honesty, kindness, and compassion.
I’m running for Mayor because serving others has always been at the heart of my life. I believe in the strength of community and that our different perspectives make us stronger. I want every resident to feel heard, valued, and empowered to be part of the conversation.
I’m not running because I’ve always had a seat at the table; I’m running because I believe more people should have one, no matter their political, religious, or personal background. As Mayor, I’ll work to keep residents informed and involved, and I’ll promote transparency so everyone knows what’s happening in our city.
I bring a fresh perspective to city government, no agendas, no obligations....just a focus on serving all residents. I’ll lead not as a politician, but as a neighbor and friend, ready to listen, learn, and work with all of you.
If I have the honor to serve, I’ll advocate for thoughtful updates to our general plan, leveraging skilled and seasoned professionals, to help balance growth while keeping the character of our community intact. I want to preserve the small-town values we all love while planning wisely for the future.
It would be an honor to earn your vote on November 4th. By giving more residents a seat at the table, we can honor Farr West’s past and shape a future where every voice matters.

Mission
My mission as Mayor of Farr West is simple: lead with integrity, transparency, and a real love for our community. Strong leadership starts with listening, making sure every voice and every idea is heard and respected.
I want Farr West to be a city where collaboration works, compassion guides decisions, and every resident feels like a friend and neighbor. I’ll protect our city’s finances, preserve the small-town values we all treasure, and plan for growth and opportunity with openness and accountability. I’m also excited to explore bringing back the Souvlaki-style traditions and holiday celebrations that have long brought our community together.
Together, we can honor the hard work and sacrifices of Jimmie Papageorge and everyone who came before us, uniting as one community to shape a future where Farr West thrives for generations.

Vision
I want Farr West to stay safe, welcoming, and forward-looking. A city that holds on to our values, brings neighbors together, and treats everyone with respect and compassion. One that honors our small-town roots while leading with transparency and planning for thoughtful growth.
